This past weekend we attended Norway Day 2008 to experience Norwegian culture. We stopped first by the Tabitha Café and enjoyed their famously delicious waffles. We wandered around the exhibits for awhile before sitting down and enjoying live cooking demonstrations. Gaby had a "Norwegian Taco" a hotdog in a flour tortilla while local cooks presented traditional Norwegian foods, including Rommegrot (sour cream porridge), Krumkake and Lefse. After the cooking demonstrations, we learned about bobbin lace and tatting.
Observers get to taste the Lefse - which was rolled with butter and sugar.
